We saw The Rebirth Brass Band of New Orleans last night.
While in New Orleans the bartenders raved on how good this band was. So we made the effort to see what all the fuss was about (on a Thursday night no less!) and I'm dragging ass a little this morning.
- and now apparently I'm a banjo AND a brass band kinda gal!!
That was a SUPER fun time!
Ever want to get a feel for New Orleans? Go see this band. It'll make you feel alive.
Also read Eloisa's Once Upon a Tower. It's up there as one of my favorites of hers. I liked her play on Romeo and Juliet. I always was a bit of a sucker for that story.
It's about to snow here (SNOW! yas we never get snow!!!) and it's Friday.
